Got your letter about favorite podcasts. That is a very tough question, but I’d have to say the podcast that I always look for is The Best of the Left. Every three days, Jay Tomlinson aggregates the best of the progressive media. He’s always on schedule and always has clips that are funny, make you think or inform you about something you might have missed in the media. It’s the podcast for politics junkies packed with trenchant commentary, sometimes from unexpected places. More unusual, each show has a theme, so you get pretty deep into the topic from all sides, whether it be NDAA, Occupy, congressional follies or deconstructing war propaganda. It’s not your average clip show.
