I’ve been playing with Spreaker to see how it works, etc. It’s a pretty cool service that makes it easy to do a “live” podcast. Now you can use an android phone to record your podcast. This is nothing new (anyone remember the now dead Gcast?). There is a version for iOS as well.
I went over and downloaded the app, and did a quick test. It works. I could see musicians, or any kind of entertainers who want to update things from the road using the feature. It does sound like it was recorded on a phone. In terms of ease of use, it doesn’t get much easier. You can listen to it by clicking on the player below.
The service is free as the place ads on their player when you listen online (and if you download the episode there are ads added to the beginning of the show). If you are looking for a way to ad advertising for those who listen online only (not downloads) check out my latest version of More Podcast Money.
