I was looking at the newly rebranded midroll.com and saw this quote
“”Out of all of Igloo Software’s opportunities last year, 7% came from podcast sponsorships,” according to Marko Savic, Igloo’s Creative Director. “But the remarkable thing is that a full 21% of opportunity value was influenced from those podcast ads. Podcasts were one of our most efficient methods for opportunity creation in 2013.”
They also showed a screen of their app for booking advertisting. I know some podcasters state they can get $40 cpm, but apparently not at midroll. Here you see pre-rolls starting at $18, and midroll ads going for $25. The example below is from the show Turning this car around.
