I recently had a sty drained in my eye. According to my doctor this was going to cause “minor discomfort.” Apparently he and I have different definitions of pain. At any rate if you've been e-mailing me the last few days, opening my eyes has been quite the challenge (and facing a white computer screen unbearable). Today I've got both my eyes open, but my vision is not so good (tomorrow should be better). At any rate, if you've been trying to get in touch with me be patient. I'm digging out of a few days without email.

The bad news is I didn't even get a cool, “Pirate” eye patch.

I also learned that if you do the “bathroom mirror” camera shot, you should clean the mirror first, and probably comb your hair. On the other hand, I couldn't see most of this….
